Update May 2017
A May 2017 Microsft security update for Windows 10 conflicted with a major routine in FileBoss resulting in FileBoss not starting on some Windows 10 systems.
The current download, V3.101, fixes the problem.

Sue Pichotta of Ace Icons
In June 2005, while
FileBoss™/font>
was still in its Release Candidate stage, Sue Pichotta of Ace Icons used file sets to rename thousands of files in multiple folders at once. Her comment?
FileBoss File Sets - rocks!
Sue went on to say:
Today I decided that I needed to rename some of the Roma images. Instead of "left-arrow", "right-arrow", they should be "arrow-green-left", "arrow-green-right", etc. Can you imagine doing that in all the different folders I have the icons organized into?

But wait, it gets worse. Here are the actual file names:

etc.
This would be almost impossible to do - very, very time consuming and
tedious - if it wasn't for FileBoss. Today, I finally used "file sets" for
the first time... and what a breeze it was!
