Update May 2017

A May 2017 Microsft security update for Windows 10 conflicted with a major routine in FileBoss resulting in FileBoss not starting on some Windows 10 systems.

Versions V3.101 and later, fix the problem. You can read more about this at the page
Windows Creators Conflict.

Easy, Non-intrusive Installation

Non-intrusive Install leaves your system clean

FileBoss does not install DLLs nor any files to any system folder

The only folders the setup program writes to is the folder you designate (the usual default is Program Files\FileBoss), the Windows designated application data folder, and to a data folder (the usual default is My Documents\FileBoss Data).

And even then the number of files is minimal and the only executable is FileBoss.exe and a small uninstall stub in the same folder.

No DLLs, ActiveX controls or any other executing code is put on your computer except for small uninstall routines.

For FileBoss Version 4 and above three extra DLLs are added to the top-level installation folder:
    fileboss.dll, fileboss64.dll, and Goth.dll

Few Registry Entries

All registry entries created by the Setup Program are stored under one key.

All registry entries created by this setup program will be deleted if you run FileBoss' uninstall program and if FileBoss hasn't created any other files in the folders later.

Signed Files

FileBoss's executable and setup files are digitally signed using a Comodo certificate insuring that you get the original files and that you know where the came from and who wrote them.
