FileBoss™ makes simple work of making a copy
of a directory tree without including any of the files from the
original folders. And there are two different ways to do it to
better fit you needs.
The first way is to
copy a directory tree just like you would a normal
folder or file by specifying a target folder to copy it to.
The second way is to
duplicate a directory tree
in the same folder as the original is located. This will create a
copy but with a different name.
Both of these quick and easy methods are
shown below.
If you would like to duplicate the tree structure in
the same folder as the original consider usin the
Duplicate Files
and Folders tool. Using the Duplicate tool
will also allow you to make as many copies as you like.
Quick Start: Copying Tree
Structures
Copying folders trees (just the
structure without files) is even easier than copying full
folders or files. Simply select what to copy and tell FileBoss
where to copy it to.
Select the folder (or folders) you
want to make a copy of
Select the folder in the Contents
window. Below the S:\Shakespeare\Plays
folder has been selected.

Select Actions | Copy Folders
Trees...
from the main menu

Select the destination folder for
the new directory tree
In this example we have chosen
S:\Work.
When the OK button is clicked the
folder Plays and all of its
subfolders will be duplicated under the folder
S:\Shakespeare\Plays - new but none
of the files it contains, if any, will be copied, i.e. the new
folders will be empty.
