Purpose
Defines the advanced sort criteria and applies it to the current View.
How to Display
From the main menu select Sort | Advanced...
Using
Select up to ten different sort criteria. The entries in the view will be sorted first by criteria #1 then #2 and on down the list until the an empty (-- none --) is reached. Even if criteria are defined after and empty one they will not be processed.
To reverse how the sort any one criteria is processed check the box after the criteria.
Example
In the above example all entries with the hidden attribute set will be sorted to the top. Then entries with the hidden group will be sorted by extension first and then name. And finally all entries without the hidden attribute set will be sorted by extension and name.
