Show All F11 Folders Alt+F11 Files Shift+F11 Selected Ctrl+F11 Reverse Ctrl+Shift+F11 This series of commands hide from view or show the specified types of files and folders. Hidden files cannot be selected and when will loose any selected status they may have had. These commands will be disabled whenever there are no relevant matching entries for the commands. Both the Folders and Files commands are toggled states rather than just a one time actions. When active (the button will be highlighted and the corresponding menu item will be checked) the relevant entries will be hidden from all Explore views as you navigate to different folders.
Show Toolbar Toggles the display of the Hide toolbar. If you are using these commands a lot it might be more convenient to display the Hide toolbar and click on its command buttons.
Columns > Displays a list of all the available columns for the Contents window. Columns can be activated and hidden by clicking on their entry in the list. Columns can also be configured by right-clicking the mouse over any column header in the Contents window. To learn more about configuring the columns in the Contents window click here.
File Tip Balloons > Displays the fields that can be displayed in the file tips (when the cursor hovers over a filename in the Contents window) and under what conditions these tips will be displayed. The fields and conditions can be toggled by selecting the appropriate entry in the list.
Highlight Errors Toggles whether or not FileBoss will highlight entries that caused errors during the last action (such as when a file could not be copied because it or its target was open in another application). By default files that caused errors are highlighted in read. You can skip from one error entry to the next using the Edit | Go To | Error File command and then repeatedly pressing F3.
View Result Logs > Summary Details Errors Displays the appropriate result log if it has been saved to disk.
Appearance > Use Tabbed Documents Toggles the display of the tabs near the top of the FileBoss window that represent the open views. The default is on. When turned off FileBoss presents a more traditional Windows interface.
Default Layout, Look & Feel... Opens a dialog log where you can choose which visual features of FileBoss should be returned to their default state. For more information on re-setting the default look and feel of FileBoss click here.
Always on Top Forces FileBoss to stay on top of all other Windows even when it is not the active application. Normally this is used when a Virtual Folder is being used to frequently drop files on other applications such as paint programs, document processors etc. Ref: HID_MENU_HELP_VIEW | |
