Upgrade Policy

The Utility Factory has a generous, simple and clear upgrade policy as outlined below.

In summary, you are coved for all minor updates and major upgrades for one year or until the next major upgrade is released - whichever is longer.

Current Version

When a license is purchased it is good for the current major version, e.g. 1.x, 2.x, 3.x etc, forever.

Interim releases

All point releases for that version are free, e.g. 2.1, 2.2, 2.3.

New major versions

If a major version, e.g. 2.0, 3.0 etc., is released within one year of your purchase it and all its point releases are free.

There is a reasonable upgrade charge for any major version that is released more than one year after you purchase FileBoss.
